Collaboration and Leadership opportunities are present at every level in an organization and to that extent, we encourage all employees to take advantage of and participate in interpersonal and leadership training provided through UF Training and Organizational Development.

• UFIT Advanced Leadership - In December 2018, UFIT in partnership with Training and Organizational Development, kicked off the first Advanced Leadership Cohort with more than 30 participants. The Cohort continues to be delivered to UFIT leaders. The Advanced Leadership Cohort is based on a competency model created by effective leaders and managers at UF to form a framework that describes the knowledge, skills and behaviors needed to be a successful leader at UF.
• UFIT Supervisory Training– The Supervisory Challenge was developed by UF Training and Organization Development and adapted for UFIT to meet the requirement that all supervisors complete the challenge. This collection of courses provides meaningful information about the knowledge, skills and behaviors required for being an effective supervisor in our inclusive environment. UFIT and Training and Organizational Development has successfully graduated one class of supervisors from this specialized training and continues to enroll supervisors in additional cohorts.

• THRIVE@UF -Developed by UF Training and Organizational Development, this collection of courses was designed to elevate personal and professional development and includes a broad range of workshops for all employees, from entry level to experienced.
• GatorsTogether – Combining our UNIQUENESS to achieve greatness. Gators Together is a certificate program for individual employees and supervisors. This program is designed to promote knowledge and skills that improve behaviors for positive team interactions, enhance work performance, and support engagement by fostering a culture of excellence, opportunity, and care.
